OTC Logistics Pvt Ltd is a Freight Forwarding Company, looking for an Assistant Manager Operation who can run the day to day operations smoothly. This position will be responsible for managing all operations related to Freight Forwarding.
Job Description:
- Manage daily activities, including staffing, scheduling, and customer interactions.
- Responsible for managing and handling the operations.
- Dealing with Airlines, Shipping Lines, Foreign Agents, Custom Clearing Agents, Transporters, Banks and other relevant government and non-government Departments for all Exports/Imports Consignments.
- Negotiate rates and tariff with / Airlines/ Shipping lines, Foreign Agents.
- Data entry of the shipments in the system.
- Maintain JOBs and filling. Manifestation and documentation, generate custom documents.
- Prepare all necessary documentation related to international bookings and process all export/Import documentation to clearing agents to include: (Manifest, Shipping Instructions, draft /Airway Bill, Bill of Ladings, and Certificate of Origin, etc.) Track and trace shipments, researching and resolving any issues regarding billing or shipping discrepancies.
Job Specification:
- MBA/ M.com / business-related degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding.
- Good communication and negotiation skills and customer/vendor dealing skills.
- Able to communicate well in English.
- Available to join immediately or in a week
