| Job Description: |
To enter data in the software and manage the hard and soft data in alignment
- Stay actively involved in the library lessons
- Training must be given to students/teachers by the librarian on books’ Circulation of all library resources
- Classify and catalog all the library resources
- Organize and label all the books on the shelves
- Proper placement of the books in the shelves as per their category
- Stocktaking must be completed twice a year (in June and December).
- The Librarian must send their stocktaking report to the Senior Coordinator and the Vice Principal.
- Repair damaged resources using the correct materials.
- Send a soft copy of the monthly report and a termly hard copy to their respective Senior Coordinator Charge fines
- Promote reading among students by organizing various book activities
- Prepare yearly and need-based book requisitions as requested by
- teachers and students, and send the demand to the concerned with the Vice Principal’s approval
- Adopt security measures to take care of the library material/resources
- Keep track of and send overdue notices and fine forms for lost/damaged resources to students, teachers and staff
- To ensure that library rules are being implemented and followed
- To ensure that the library is being cleaned on a daily basis
- Supervise students and maintain library discipline, rules and regulations
- Meet deadlines given by the Senior Coordinator and the Vice Principal
