POSITION TITLE: FRANCHISE COORDINATOR
DEPARTMENT: RETAIL
REPORTS TO: MANAGER FRANCHISE OPERATIONS
Summary:
The Franchise Coordinator supports the Manager Franchise Operations in management of SSC’s franchise stores, developing relationships with store owners in order to maximize sales and meet investment targets.
Roles and Responsibilities:
To achieve sales and investment targets of franchise shops and propose new franchisees / locations in the assigned region. Ensure smooth running of operations at franchise shops as per company's policies and standards through regular field visits and strong interaction with franchisees.
Key Result Areas:
1. Develop franchise business, assisting franchisees in achieving their business targets and bridging the communication gap between the head office and franchisees in order to ensure timely decision-making.
2. Strengthen SSC’s franchise network through identification of suitable franchisees that allow SSC to penetrate new markets.
3. Maintain corporate brand equity, implementing company policies and standards at franchise stores in coordination with district managers through regular field visits.
4. Maintain good relations with franchisees, providing a communication channel with the head office for timely resolution of issues. Provide full support to franchisees for opening new stores, in coordination with the District Manager and Renovation Department.
5. Recover due amounts from franchisees and clear debited amounts through rigorous follow-up measures, ensuring timely recovery of all amounts, including daily remittances.

1. Assist in attainment of franchise business targets, supporting SSC’s consistent growth.
2. Support improvement of the quality of the franchise network (bottom line of franchise operations).
3. Maintain operational excellence and ensure franchise stores run smoothly.
4. Maintain franchisees’ satisfaction level and ensure retention of profitable franchisees.
5. Maintain performance of franchise stores as per SSC’s established standards.
Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
1. The position requires a graduate degree and basic knowledge of sales, marketing and finance.
2. The jobholder should have a basic understanding of franchise operations, market scenarios and the prevailing situation in the footwear industry.
3. Reasonable interpersonal skills, business acumen and initiative are key traits required.
4. Adequate negotiation and decision making skills, along with a proactive attitude and relationship building ability are highly recommended.
