| Job Description: |
| A speech therapist will perform following tasks :
- Identify children's developmental speech and communication difficulties/disorders
- Assess and advise treatment for communication difficulties to the parents
- Devise, activities helpful for the students
- Advise parents on treatment programmes available
- Assess communication environment of the student (in school and after school) by
- probing the matter;
- Monitor and evaluate students progress;
- Work with the students on a one-to-one basis, and in groups, to deliver therapy;
- Write and maintain confidential student case notes and reports, as well as information for the record of school;
- Work with the teachers to improve the effectiveness of service delivery.
- Set result oriented objectives;
- Devise plan and deliver training sessions and file them for the record;
