| Job Description: |
Coding professionals primarily have the following tasks:
- Organizing, compiling and translating the medical treatment information recorded by doctors. This could include information about symptoms, observations, treatment procedures, treatment outcomes, medical history etc.
- Interpret medical information such as diseases or symptoms, and diagnostic descriptions and procedures for a given visit in order to accurately assign and sequence the correct ICD, CPT and modifiers.
- Responsible in making sure the assigned codes meet all federal, legal and insurance regulations so service payments are obtained in a timely fashion.
- Clarifying information or diagnosis by communicating with healthcare providers Utilizing computer software to analyze data.
Ideal candidate must have:
- Fresh D-Pharm degree holders from recognized university.
- Candidates having some medical coding knowledge will be given preference.
- Strong pharmacology and in depth knowledge of disease process.
- Ability to work independently while following company guidelines and procedures.
- Must be able to operate a computer in a MS Office Professional version- Excel, Word, and Outlook.
