| Mobile Application Developer: Connexiz is a fast growing independent provider of Technology recruiting, IT staffing and Software Solutions services to USA and UK market. We are looking for a mid-career mobile app developer to lead the design, development and maintenance of mainly Android and desirably IOS apps. The developer will lead the entire app lifecycle right from concept stage until delivery and post launch support. The position is based at our newly opened development center in Abbottabad.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Mobile application development mainly on Android
- Build solutions using the technical requirements for the implementation of the mobile solution
- Deliver across the entire app life cycle concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support
- Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects
- Understands client organization's direction, structure, and requirements
- Discussing with the customer technical aspects of the mobile application solution architecture, including the technology used, methodology followed, and devices selected
- Analyzes and documents required information and data
- Develops internal and external meeting objectives / agendas and meet project deadlines
- Research to be in line with latest mobile development and technology trends
- Create compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences
- Explain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects
Essential Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Information technology or equivalent (advanced degree a plus)
- 3+ years experience as a professional software developer
- 2+ years of Android development with extensive experience in Android 4.0 and above
- Published examples of mobile applications in Android market
- Proven experience in the following technologies and tools:Java,J2ME,J2EE,C sharp JavaScript, XML, SDK tools, Git / SVN
- Experience of SQLite, MySQL or similar database management system
- Familiar with Eclipse
- Must possess effective presentation and communication (both verbal and written) skills
- Must be self-starter, proactive and willing to learn and grow with the business individually and as a team.
- Familiar with tools used for mobile apps front end designing
Desirable Skills:
- Familiar with iOS SDK (UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Core Data, Core Location, etc)
- Familiar with xcode
- Good understanding of software testing techniques particularly in mobile application development.
