As the HR Manager you will oversee all aspects of marine HR for the fleet. Other roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Effective management of day to day marine HR operations
Oversee the recruitment of all sea staff
Implement and ensure compliance with both internal and external policies
Ensure comprehensive training of new and existing seagoing staff
Maintain budgetary responsibilities
Implementation and monitor Company ISO, ISM and QSHE Procedures.
Plan, monitor and co-ordinate the vessels audit schedule.
Perform inspection / audit for ISO, ISM and QHSE standards.
Maintaining the corrective action register for all Marine related audits and inspections, and following up on same.
Liaising with the Maintenance - and QHSE-Marine departments in respect audit requirements and results.
Monitoring Port State Control Company performance and vessels audit results.
Manage and keep updated the list of publications required on board and advise on a Company standard to follow.
Drafting and updating of the Company Marine Operations Manual as and when required.
The ideal candidate will have similar experience in a senior marine HR position and have a strong understanding of all industry rules and regulations. Candidates with a seagoing background are preferred but it is not an essential requirement.
