High Rank technologies is looking for an expert android developer to join our team and implement innovative application ideas.

Job Description

1. 2-3 years experience in the development of Android mobile applications

2. Experience of designing and developing mobile interface

3. Excellent knowledge of the Java/Android SDK

4. Strong knowledge of XML and JSON

5. Comfortable in working with team as well as independently

6. Expertise in configuring and using 3rd party APIs, REST API

7. Familiar with subversion, bug tracking softwares will be aplus

8. SDK integration for Facebook, Gmail, Twitter, Google Maps will be a plus.

9. Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable application

10. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application

Requirements

1. Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle

2. Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes

3. Experience working with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

4. Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

5. Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

6. Experience with publishing at least one Android app on Play Store

7. Knowledge of threading, memory optimization and performance tuning

8. Experience of integrating third party open source libraries

9. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

10. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications

11. Good problem solving skills and ability to communicate with other

12. Experience with code versioning tools, such as Git, SVN
