Job Description:

A Garments Unit is looking for Cutting In charge.


Responsibilities include:



  • Develop fabric requirement plan against projected orders.

  • Ensure professional cutting of fabric as per approved patterns.

  • Supervise the cutting of lining and inter-lining according to size and style.

  • Ensure proper order-wise packaging of cut fabric for dispatch to relevant department.

  • Digitize and grade all patterns and maintain their record.

  • Prepare and maintain data bank of available styles and sizes.

  • Make new patterns in consultation with designer as per requirement.

  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of GGT system and company software.

  • Arrange resource for cutting/GGT as required.

  • Train and supervise team of cutters and GGT operators.

  • Manage operators and can make patterns of garments is required.

  • Experience in working with any brand in fashion garments is preferable.

  • Knows Pattern making and range cutting.


·         Must have 5-10 years of experience in Garments Manufacturing


·         Must have at least 3 years’ experience in similar position.
