Job Description:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The main function of the role is through collaborative working with the UK office and Business Development Manager (BDM) to attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and network users. The objective being to gradually achieve improved customer engagement and relationship intimacy, website traffic and acquisition (revenue), by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap.

MAIN TASKS

  • Set-up, create and design new “Instagram” “Linked In” and “You Tube” accounts for company.
  • Re-establish and optimise our Facebook, Google My Business, Pinterest & Twitter accounts.
  • Plan content and delivery in association with the Business Development Manager and use Trello to manage multiple campaigns across social media channels.
  • Regularly upload content from website blogs and e-newsletters.
  • Develop and manage competitions and promotions in association with the Business Development Manager as appropriate.
  • Facilitate and manage social media communities by providing responses to social media posts and developing discussions, in association with the Business Development Manager.
  • Monitor and report on social media platform performance using the data/metrics tools available on each platform and Google Analytics.
  • Contribute to the building and execution of our social media strategy through competitive research, platform benchmarking, messaging and audience identification. 
  • Moderate all user generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community platform and/or alert the company/ Business Development Manager for appropriate responses.
  • Ensure that the brand and corporate ID are maintained across all platforms.
  • Collect customer data and analysis of interactions and visits. Creating reports that improve understanding and assist with the creation of future campaigns and strategies for social media.
  • Use dashboard management software for the scheduling of campaigns e.g. Agorapulse, Hootsuite, Sendible and Sprout Social.
  • Research and monitor activities of competitor company’s.

PERSON SPECIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS

  • Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing. Marketing degree or related qualification is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media. (Give links to profiles as examples).
  • Proficient in content marketing theory and application.
  • Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
  • Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.
  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, Pinterest, Twitter & You Tube) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
  • Maintains excellent English written and language skills.
  • Enjoys a working knowledge of the blogging ecosystem and if possible with some relevance to the label industry.
  • Has a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research and Google Analytics. Highly knowledgeable in the principles of “Search and Social.”
  • Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new concepts, ideas and tools quickly.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues. Preferably in both English and Urdu.
  •  Good organisation and self-management skills and confident to multi-task.
  •  High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage expectations and workload.

NOTE: Office timings are Mon - Friday (12:00 PM to 9:00 PM)
