The WordPress Developer will be responsible for knowledge and experience with (including, but not limited to):

Frontend

• Design, Develop and maintain responsive and dynamic websites using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript/jQuery
• Debug sites across all major browsers
• Be familiar with and utilize basic SEO concepts

Backend

• Manage site backups
• Manage site security and troubleshoot issues
• Create, maintain and query MySQL databases

WordPress

• Develop, deploy, and maintain site architecture and content using WordPress
• Develop and maintain proprietary and 3rd party themes and plugins
• Design and implement new features using WordPress concepts such as custom post types and shortcodes
• The developer must have experience with woocommerce theme development using WOO hooks.
• Handle security and backups for WordPress sites
• Deploy, configure, and build sites using site builder themes and plugins

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Communicate with staff regularly about any issues as they arise
• Work directly with clients to understand their needs and technical requirements

Must be proficient in

• Wordpress, WooCommerce, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript/jQuery, MySQL
