A dynamic and growing agribusiness operation in South Punjab (Sadiqabad) is looking to hire it’s first Management Trainee Officer who will train for higher level positions for managing the following:

Operational Activities:

·             Direct and coordinate worker activities, such as planting, irrigation, chemical application, harvesting, grading, payroll, and recordkeeping

·             Analyze soil to determine type and quantity of fertilizer required for maximum production

·             Analyze market conditions to determine acreage allocations

·             Manage and develop the company’s MIS and ERP for up to date record keeping and relevant management information

·             Confers with purchasers and arranges for sale of crops

Managerial Activities

·             Undertake research to write the business plan of the new company to attract investors and other stakeholders

·             Understand company registration laws and help with registration of new company

·             Hires, discharges, transfers, and promotes workers, enforces safety regulations

Eligibility Criteria and remuneration:

Knowledge of the principles of crop production is the basic requirement for this job. The company will provide training in other managerial areas including finance, operations and business.

Candidates with a B.Sc (Hons)/M.Sc in Agriculture are encouraged to apply. Candidates with work experience in an Agri company and experience with drip irrigation in particular are also encouraged to apply. Candidates will have to become accustomed to living on a farm in a village setting and will have to learn basic Seraiki speaking skills.
