Job Overview

Plans, coordinates, directs, monitors and controls operations of Askari Shoe Project in best possible way as per latest market trends, technology and in an economical and efficient manner ensuring the BU meets diversified customer (civil/military) requirements

Responsibilities and Duties

Head the Askari Shoe Project team to further develop the company, through a fast-changing consumer and retail environment, building on the Company’s strong assets and national footprint

Develop and implement organization’s vision, mission and overall direction

Formulate a comprehensive short to long term business strategy inclusive of channel development and production development ensuring profitability and growth of the company

Develop annual budget of the BU, ensure continuous monitoring and achievement of budgetary targets and meet the KPIs as given below:

Net profitability = 10%
Growth as per plan= 3 billion (2023)
Creation of new channels = Addition of new channels, sales
Exports= Start 2020
Product development= new projects
Cash flow management= Positive
Production efficiency= 90%+
Customer satisfaction=90%+
Employee satisfaction=80%+

Remain abreast with the latest technology of the field and also of best industry practices and competitors and initiate new business lines and channels ensuring continuous growth of the company

Overall in charge of BU’s financial, operational, administrative controls, HR, sales, procurement, contract management and marketing matters, ensuring enhanced effectiveness by management through

Recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling and disciplining of managers and their teams
Communicating values, strategies and objectives
Assigning accountabilities
Planning, monitoring and appraising job results
Developing incentives

Monitor all production operations and business activities of Askari Shoe Project while ensuring they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission of AP/AWT

Responsible for cost effective and efficient operations to ensure brand positioning of Askari Shoe in the market

Responsible for fixing prices, signing business deals, end of season agreements with suppliers and co-ordinate any stock movements and administration accordingly

Effectively collaborate with internal and external teams members including raw material buying agents/companies, third parties, marketing companies teams and other retail clients

Formulate and institute policies & procedures for Askari Shoe

Ensure BU to abide by AWT SOPs / policies
