Job Description: |
The *Area Sales Manager (ASM)* is responsible for achieving sales targets in the assigned territory by leading a team of Medical Representatives. The ASM ensures product promotion, customer relationship management, and market development in line with company strategies and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area.
- Supervise, train, and motivate a team of Medical Representatives (MRs).
- Plan and implement territory sales strategies and promotional activities.
- Conduct joint field visits with MRs to ensure effective product detailing to doctors and chemists.
- Build strong relationships with key healthcare professionals (HCPs) and institutions.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends; share insights with management.
- Ensure proper coverage, frequency, and call quality in the assigned area.
- Manage distributor relationships, inventory, and timely order execution.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and action plans for the region.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
