Job Summary


The Talent Acquisition Specialist – Nursing Recruitment is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment for nursing and allied healthcare staff across Novacare Hospitals. You will ensure the hiring of qualified, compassionate, and skilled nurses aligned with Novacare’s standards of patient care and clinical excellence. You will work closely with Nursing Leadership, Clinical Department Heads, and the People Practices team. You will play a critical role in building Novacare’s nursing workforce to support operational readiness and quality healthcare delivery.


Key Responsibilities


1. Nursing Recruitment & Selection:



  • Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for nurses and allied health professionals — from manpower requisition to onboarding.

  • Collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), Nursing Managers, and People Practice - Business Partners to understand staffing needs and workforce plans.

  • Develop and implement targeted sourcing strategies to attract qualified nurses from hospitals, nursing schools, and professional associations.

  • Screen resumes, verify nursing qualifications and licenses, and conduct preliminary assessments to ensure candidates meet Novacare’s clinical and professional standards.

  • Coordinate interviews, skills assessments, and selection panels with Nursing and Clinical leadership.

  • Manage offer preparation, negotiation, and issuance in coordination with the CPO and relevant approving authorities.


2. Workforce Planning & Pipeline Development



  • Maintain a proactive nursing talent pipeline based on current and projected staffing needs.

  • Partner with nursing schools and training institutions to develop internship and early-career hiring programs.

  • Track turnover and staffing trends to anticipate future recruitment requirements and ensure adequate coverage.


3. Employer Branding & Candidate Experience



  • Promote Novacare as an employer of choice for nurses and allied healthcare professionals.

  • Represent Novacare at nursing job fairs, academic events, and professional forums.

  • Deliver an engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely communication and professionalism.


4. Recruitment Governance & Compliance



  • Ensure adherence to Novacare’s policies, nursing council standards, and healthcare compliance regulations in all recruitment processes.

  • Conduct background checks, license verifications, and employment reference validations.

  • Maintain updated recruitment trackers, approvals, and documentation in the HRIS.

  • Support the onboarding and orientation of new nurses in collaboration with the Nursing Education and People Practice Operations teams.


6. Reporting & Analysis



  • Prepare recruitment dashboards and progress reports highlighting open positions, time-to-fill, and hiring sources.

  • Provide data-driven insights to improve sourcing efficiency and reduce nursing vacancies.


Qualification


Education:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Master’s degree or HR certifications preferred.


Experience: 6 to 7 years of experience in talent acquisition (preferably in healthcare)


Skills:



  • Familiarity with nursing roles, qualification frameworks, and clinical credentialing standards.

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.

  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms, recruitment tools, and MS Office Suite.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.

  • High level of attention to detail, time management, and organizational abilities.

The total investment across the facilities is expected to be in excess of PKR 35 bn.
